RESIDENCE GUIDELINES
To preserve the comfort, privacy, and quality of the Yu Kiroro experience for all guests, we kindly ask you to observe the following guidelines during your stay.
1. Check-in & Check-out
- Check-in time is 3:00 PM.
- Check-out time is 10:00 AM.
- Guests wishing to extend their stay should contact Reception as early as possible. Extensions are subject to availability.
- Late check-out requests must be made with Reception at least 24 hours before departure and are subject to availability.
- Check-out after 12:00 PM may be charged at the applicable room rate for an additional night.
- Guests who have not checked out by 10:00 AM without prior arrangement may be subject to a late check-out charge.
- Guests wishing to extend their stay beyond the original reservation period must contact Reception. Continued accommodation is subject to availability.
2. Registered Guests & Visitors
Access to guest residences and Yu Kiroro guest facilities is reserved for registered staying guests.
Friends and visitors who are not registered guests may not use the Yu Kiroro lobby, Reception, ski valet, or other guest facilities.
Visitors may enter the hotel lobby only between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM only after being reported to Reception. Visitors must leave the premises by 10:00 PM.
Yu Kiroro reserves the right to restrict access or request visitors to leave the premises.
Only guests whose names are registered for the reservation may stay overnight in the residence. Subletting or transferring the residence to other persons is strictly prohibited.
3. External Ski & Snowboard Instructors
Guests arranging their own external ski or snowboard instructor are required to follow all Kiroro Mountain Resort rules and designated procedures.
External instructors and their clients must register and meet outside the Yu Kiroro facility.
The Yu Kiroro lobby, Reception area, and ski valet may not be used as meeting, registration, or waiting areas for external instructors.
4. Non-Smoking Property
Yu Kiroro is a 100% non-smoking property.
Smoking, vaping, IQOS, and other smoking devices are strictly prohibited inside residences and on balconies. Open flames and cooking with flammable materials are also prohibited.
A JPY 100,000 cleaning fee will apply in the event of a smoking violation. Repeated or serious violations may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.
5. Ski & Snowboard Equipment
For the protection of our residences and to maintain a comfortable environment throughout the property, skis, snowboards, ski boots, and other ski equipment must not be brought into guest residences or corridors.
Please use our ski valet, which is exclusively available to registered staying guests.
Shoes should also be removed in the designated entrance area of your residence.
6. Onsen Etiquette
We kindly ask all guests to observe Japanese bathing etiquette when using the onsen facilities.
Photography and videography are strictly prohibited, and swimwear is not permitted.
Please observe all instructions and regulations displayed within the onsen area.
7. Residence & Personal Belongings
Yu Kiroro is a luxury condominium hotel, with each residence individually owned.
We kindly ask guests to treat the residence and its contents with care. Any damage, missing items, or property concerns should be reported to Reception as soon as possible and, where applicable, before departure.
Guests may be responsible for damage or missing items caused during their stay, and applicable charges may be made to the payment method provided at check-in.
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings. In-room safes are provided for your convenience.
8. Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the Yu Kiroro building or residences.
9. Housekeeping Schedule & Service Guidelines
Housekeeping services are provided according to the scheduled service applicable to the length of your stay.
Please note that housekeeping service times cannot be guaranteed. For full details, please refer to the Guest Brochure provided in your residence.
Day 2 – Green Service
- Collection of garbage from designated bins
- Replenishment of bottled water
Day 3 – Service Clean
- Toilet and bathroom cleaning
- Restocking of amenities
- Replenishment of bottled water
- Washing of utensils in the sink
Collection of garbage from designated bins
Please note: Housekeeping staff will not move, organize, or clean personal belongings or items placed on tables or other surfaces. Only garbage placed inside the designated bins will be collected.
Day 4 – Green Service
- Collection of garbage from designated bins
- Replenishment of bottled water
Day 5 – Mid-Stay Clean
- Linen change
- General cleaning of the residence
- Toilet and bathroom cleaning
- Restocking of amenities
- Replenishment of bottled water
- Collection of garbage
Additional cleaning services may be arranged through Reception and are available at an additional charge.
Guests who do not wish to receive housekeeping service may display the Do Not Disturb sign outside their residence.
10. Parking
All vehicles must be registered with Reception upon check-in.
Yu Kiroro parking spaces are subject to availability.
When the designated Yu Kiroro parking area is full, Parking No. 5 will be used as the designated alternative parking area.
Please follow the instructions provided by Reception regarding parking during your stay.
Yu Kiroro is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles or belongings left inside vehicles.
11. Children & Facility Safety
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using Yu Kiroro facilities.
The gym and family space are unsupervised facilities. Guests are requested to use these areas responsibly and at their own discretion.
12. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to respect the comfort, privacy, and safety of other residents, guests, and Yu Kiroro staff.
Any behavior that causes disturbance, damage, threatens the safety of others, or violates these Residence Guidelines may result in the guest being asked to leave the property.
Yu Kiroro reserves the right to restrict or refuse accommodation or facility access where a guest has previously demonstrated serious or repeated misconduct, including significant property damage, theft, threatening, or violent behavior, excessive garbage or trash.
Groups of more than 10 people should contact Yu Kiroro prior to arrival.
13. Identification & Registration
In accordance with Japanese law, all guests are required to provide a copy of valid identification / passport and complete the necessary registration procedures.
14. Key Cards
Key cards are issued according to the number of registered adults.
A replacement fee of JPY 1,000 per lost key card applies.
15. Additional Charges
Telephone calls and any other applicable charges incurred during your stay will be settled at check-out.
Applicable charges for damage, additional cleaning, lost items, or other services may also be applied where relevant.
16. Security
For the safety and security of our guests, CCTV operates 24 hours a day in designated areas throughout the property.
17. Safety & Liability
Guests are expected to follow all safety instructions, property rules, and reasonable requests from Yu Kiroro staff.
Yu Kiroro cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged during a guest’s stay. Guests are encouraged to use the in-room safe for valuables.
Guests are responsible for their own safety and for the proper supervision of children and accompanying visitors.
